Frankly to say, I fully support our Minister of Human Resources, M. Kulasegaran's proposal to reduce or ban (partially and unskilled) foreign cooks (not chefs) in any hawker centres and restaurants. Besides to provide chances to those local who have potential talents in cookery and culinary art, we need also fully trained local cooks and foreign chefs (professionals) to maintain quality of local cuisines, especially of with certain significance about national cuisine culture. I don't want my ethnical and national cuisines being ruined by those foreign cooks and chefs who only follow bosses' recipes without acquiring intensive culinary training!
