FIREFLY'S SUBPLOT

Although I do not play Honkai Star Rail, a role-playing video game developed by Mihoyo, but I did notice some playable characters and main storyline. Eventhough it somehow boring due to the presence of explanatory dialogue, but the subplot about Firefly is my top favourite among the rest. She was introduced as non-playable character in Version 2.0, and eventually upgraded as playable character since Version 2.3 (released on 19 June 2024). Although she has tragic background, but her characteristic is friendly, highly values and proactively searching the meaning of life, as well as ready to face the death for the greater good. At this moment, she is highly popular among video gamer and cosplayer communities.

The following are my two favourite fan-made cutscenes from that subplot. The first one is featured with 'Had I Not Seen the Sun' (sung by Chevy), while the second one is originally composed in Mandarin.
