I remember that Buddha Sakyamuni said that everything is
interlinked with each other. Nothing is out of that inclusion. In other words,
our each action will give an effect to everything surrounding to us, either in
great or small scale. For example, human needs plants to provide us oxygen,
foods, drinks and landscape components. Human needs also soil to cultivate our
crops, rear our livestock, build our building and house, and survive as citizen
of Earth. If there is no plant, all organism including us will not survive. In
other way, without human, staple plants will not becoming important crop and
will not being used in some botanical fields. Besides that, if we pollute our
environment, plants will not able to survive, or degenerate; soil will not
suitable for crop production; water may becoming an
less-usefulness resource.
Since we are
living altogether with plants, animals and soil. So, we need to be responsible
in consuming natural resources. We need also avoid ourselves from wasting any
useful resources because some of it
may nonrenewable. Sustainability guarantees our future
generation.
Bear in mind that
we are the one of consumer of natural resource, and also the temporary owner or
takecarer of our Earth. The natural law makes any matter in environment possible.
Wishing you Happy Wesak day!
Although the corn tree shown in the picture above have not produce fruit, but it can grow well and provide us frutful corn and its seeds...
